osf-mail-01
osf-mail-01 is a fully integrated e-mail service. The mail services
are only available to e-mail clients on computers within the BCT
network environment.
SquirrelMail is a web based interface to the e-mail system. It has
all the functionality you would expect from an email client.
SquirrelMail is also highly configurable. Systems administrators can
write, install, and share "plugins".
Because of the high level of configuration available SquirrelMail,
some of the items in this
manual may not apply to you.
Note that although your university username is used to identify mail box accounts it has no relationship to the unversity email account.
User email accounts take the form:
xxx1yyy@cet.bolton.ac.uk
You cannot send or receive e-mails from any other e-mail system, this system is for experimental and learning purposes only.
